Rajeen راجعين
Unlike the experiences before, راجعين took people on an emotional rollercoaster filled with nostalgia, beautiful memories, culture, and a wholesome experience.
In the space that is filled with life week after week, Zamakan’s pop-up shop brought yet another experience to life. Unlike the experiences before, راجعين took people on an emotional rollercoaster filled with nostalgia, beautiful memories, culture and a wholesome experience.
This pop- up was an interactive experience that united our Palestinian community together as well as people who were yet to learn all about the culture and traditions.
The shop was decorated to look as though you have entered a market in Palestine, with all its stalls and stands for businesses to place their work. Before entering, a huge map of the country is seen on the glass wall. By-passers were given the chance to add their fingerprint on the city they are from, as it symbolized identity. When entering, there was an olive tree in the middle of the shop which brought people back to their homeland. With all the beauty of the interior comes the sounds of traditional music that brought everyone on their feet to dance dabke, and the smell of fresh knafe that had just come out of the oven for people to indulge. This experience stimulated all senses and allowed people to get the full experience on what it’s like to be in Palestine.
For the duration of the week, the energy levels in the pop-up were high and the excitement of every visitor was unforgettable. Zamakan was able to capture the attention of people from all over Amman and the word about the pop-up shop was spread. Influencers, expatriates, business owners and the community were captivated by the effort and creativity that was brought into existence in this successful experience.
We are looking forward for another wholesome experience such as this one. Until then, Zamakan will continue setting the bar high in each of their pop-up experiences.
